Tour

The tour begins with an independent visit to Taormina. We continue in the direction of Etna, passing through the town of Giarre and the village of Santa Venerina. On the way to the winery, a photo stop at the lava flow related to the eruption of Mt. Etna in 1992. We will then reach a typical Sicilian estate to visit the vineyards and winery. Once the visit is complete, enjoy a generous wine tasting with local products and the different qualities of wine produced on the estate. Before leaving the estate, you will have the opportunity to purchase the wines.

Departure will be at the Molo San’Antonio for the start of the tour. You will proceed to the Temple of Apollo dating back to the 6th BC, the oldest temple in Sicily. The tour continues with a visit to the Palazzo Greco, which houses the National Institute of Ancient Drama, the Fountain of Diana, created by the sculptor G. Moschetti in 1906, and Piazza Archimede, from where you can admire Piazza Duomo and the Baroque Cathedral of Syracuse. On the way to Maniace Castle you will stop at the Arethusa fountain. Before returning, you will have time to enjoy a snack inside the old market of Ortigia.

This tour will take you to a Sicilian winery, where you will visit the cellar and be introduced to a range of wines, accompanied by a tasting of delicious Sicilian food.
Continue with a panoramic tour to Europe’s largest active volcano. You will arrive at the Crateri Silvestri, where the sunset is beyond your imagination.

Immerse yourself in the splendour of Castelmola, an enchanting village near Taormina with deep roots in the ancient past. Stroll through the labyrinth of charming streets winding around the picturesque Piazza del Duomo, where you can enjoy splendid views of Mount Etna and the beaches and taste the famous Sicilian cannoli in one of Castelmola’s typical cafés.
We will then reach a typical Sicilian estate, where you can enjoy views of the fertile valley and fields covered with vineyards that produce Etna’s certified wine, made special by the lava-enriched soil. The excursion involves mountain biking over rocky, lava terrain. The tour starts from the meeting point or hotel to the northern part of Mount Etna. On site, your guide will take you on this adventure to experience mountain biking on Europe’s highest volcano. The mountain bike tour takes about 1.45 hours and cyclists must be safe on a mountain bike. Your well-deserved break includes a cannoli tasting.
