General Information
One of the most fascinating places in Sicily is located on the northern coast of Sicily, halfway between Palermo and Capo d’Orlando, this is Cefalù.
You will start a guided walking tour through this beautiful medieval town with narrow streets and elaborate architecture.
At the centre of the town is the 12th century Norman cathedral built during the reign of Roger II. The presbytery is covered with beautiful mosaics on a gold background, which display a surprising variety of colours and are an admirable expression of Byzantine art.
The colours of the city are concentrated in a palette of colours from ocean blue to sunshine yellow that enhance the hues of the honey-coloured buildings. Small pieces of Sicilian history will come to life during your free time in the streets of the centre. You can wander among the souvenir shops, enjoy an ice cream in one of the characteristic cafés or have lunch in one of the seaside restaurants. Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity to take a swim in some of the beautiful beaches of this fishing village.

Tour by Sicily reserves the right to cancel the tour if the guide is not available no later than 2 days before departure. In this case, 100% of the paid fees will be refunded within 24 hours of the cancellation notice communicated by e-mail or an alternative tour will be offered.
