General Information
This tour will allow you to admire the beautiful west coast of Sicily. It begins with a scenic drive along the famous salt pans, characteristic of Trapani’s urban landscape and the entire coastline to Marsala. We will continue to Marsala, whose Arabic name derives from Marsa Alì or Marsa Allah (the port of Ali or God), some traces of the old Arab city are still visible in the modern urban layout. The city is famous for the liqueur wines that bear its name, first exported in the late 18th century by English merchant John Woodhouse. The next stop will be at the famous Cantine Florio. Since 1883, Florio has continually asserted its pioneering leadership as a producer of high quality Marsala passito wines, terroir passito wines and sweet liqueur wines. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the winery and enjoy an excellent wine tasting accompanied by typical Sicilian food.

Tour by Sicily reserves the right to cancel the tour if the guide is not available no later than 2 days before departure. In this case, 100% of the paid fees will be refunded within 24 hours of the cancellation notice communicated by e-mail or an alternative tour will be offered.
